Built around people who've done the work.

cardbrd brings together operators and specialists with experience building, scaling, and fixing the kinds of businesses we serve. We haven't just studied these problems. We've worked through them.

Zain Suthar, founder of cardbrd

I'm Zain, the founder of cardbrd.

Before cardbrd, I built a home improvement company from scratch into a multi-state operation doing multiple seven figures in revenue. I've run a full P&L and operations for a home services business doing $60M+ in the GM role, where we took the business from losing money to a healthy margin. I've rebuilt the pricing, systems, and processes for other companies from the ground up, work that looks a lot like what cardbrd does for clients now.

I started cardbrd because I've sat in the seat where revenue gets the attention and the systems underneath it keep getting pushed to tomorrow. That's when decisions stop getting made without you, margins get harder to see, and problems travel further than they should. cardbrd exists to fix that structure before growth makes the gaps more expensive.

cardbrd assembles the right team around each engagement. Our network includes vetted technology specialists, GCs, tradespeople, operators, and other experienced professionals brought in based on the work at hand. You get one coordinated solution without having to source and manage a separate group of specialists yourself.

The rigor behind the work.

Before the first conversation, we review the public facing picture of the business, including the website, reviews, customer feedback, and other relevant information. We're looking for patterns in what customers praise, where they get frustrated, and where those signals may point to a larger operational issue. Once an engagement begins, the diligence goes deeper.

We walk the real path a lead takes from first call to invoiced job, and check the job sample against what was quoted, what it actually cost, and what was actually collected.

We review contract and change-order language from a business-risk angle, not a legal one, anything that needs an attorney's read, we say so, we don't pretend to be one. We check insurance coverage against what the business is actually exposed to on-site, with customers, and with data.

That's the standard before we ever propose what to fix. It's also why the plan you get is built around your business specifically, not a template with your name on it.
